Your place in the team:

 

The Web Developer Manager leads and manages a team of web developers to design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites. The role involves project management, team leadership (expert and people management level), and strategic planning to ensure high-quality web solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

 

You will be involved in the following tasks:

 

  • lead, mentor, and manage a team of web developers, including performance management and career development
  • recruit, train, and onboard new team members
  • oversee planning, execution, and delivery of web development projects, ensuring timeliness, budget adherence, and quality standards
  • coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scopes, and establish timelines
  • provide technical guidance to the team, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and development methodologies (vue.js, NUXT, STRAPI)
  • stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing innovations
  • ensure high standards of quality, usability, and performance for web applications and websites
  • oversee testing processes (unit, integration, user acceptance testing)
  • collaborate with design and business teams to align projects with organizational needs
  • communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and management
  • continuously improve development processes and workflows for efficiency
  • implement and maintain development standards, documentation, and best practices
  • manage the CAPEX of the Web Development Chapter
  • manage external resources and vendors, participate in vendor evaluations, and approve proposals
  • facilitate design discussions with software architects to ensure technical solutions align with architecture
  • take ownership of and improve the quality of web applications (portal, webshop, selfcare, AI-driven chat)
  • ensure the team has the tools, technologies, and resources to perform effectively
  • represent the team at the expert level

We are looking for you, if you have…

 

 

  • IT or Telco specific university degree
  • 8+ years of experience, with at least 6 years in web development (vue.js, Nuxt) and 4 years in a managerial role
  • experience in both agile and waterfall development methods
  • expertise in lean/agile portfolio and program management
  • skilled in capacity planning and workforce planning
  • highly motivated, autonomous, and business-focused
  • excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • customer-focused approach and results-driven mindset
  • innovative, proactive, and team-oriented
  • strong oral and written English skills
  • ability to work both independently and within a team
  • coordinate testing activities from a technical perspective
  • manage direct supplier-customer relationships with stakeholders
  • handle indirect supplier-customer relationships within the company and with customers
