Telecom Field Services Engineer

Your place in the team

Ensuring smooth 24/7/365 operation, maintenance and implementation of the high-level mobile network Telecom services on the field. Perform on-call duty. Take part of the reconfiguration of the Vodafone mobile network. Ensure 2nd line support for subcontractors. Bringing special projects to success. Perform industrial alpine jobs in all weather conditions.

You will be involved in the following tasks:

• ensuring high Mobile Network availability during High Priority events (Formula1, Sziget festival, etc..). Making/managing temporary site design, deployment and disassembly. Providing on site on call services to react Incidents instantly. Full responsibility for service assurance for this event.
• participate identifying external interference sources working with third party Operators if needed
• provide on-call on site filed services on the High Importance Network Elements (TRM and RAN Core Network)
• participate the testing and acceptance of new Mobile Network Elements, as part of which it is responsible for inspecting and taking over the work of the contractors, on the basis of which the financial performance is confirmed
• participate in “Coverage On Wheels” implementation countrywide
• ensuring successful Business through maintaining high availability of services
• maintaining the high quality of Mobile Network through setting up implementation and maintenance routines
• measuring continuously the quality and performance of the managed mobile network elements and services and also of the work of the department

We are looking for you, if you have…

• university or college degree in Technology electrical engineering/Telecom
• at least 5 years post-qualification working experience in mobile and communications
• knowledge of relevant standards and rules
• excellent overall understanding of field activities mainly in technology
• excellent overall understanding of network aspects of a mobile and operating company
• excellent overall knowledge of mobile technologies (2G,3G,4G,5G)
• excellent communication skills both verbal and written, in English and Hungarian
• driving License (B)
• industrial Climbing Exam (OKJ)
